Hello all,

We recently enabled multiple calls to Ring Group option using this parameter. Settings --> Parameters --> ALLOWUSEBUSYOPTFORGROUP=1
Clients are now having problems when second call comes to their line because they are not able to put first call on hold, and they can do so only if they reject second call, which is unacceptable. Putting call on hold works fine when they have only 1 active call, but when they receive second call, they need to reject that call in order to put first call on hold.
I would appreciate some help with this.

Phones? 3cx Version?

3cx version is latest. Phones T54S, and users with T58 didn't complain.

When you answer the second call doesn’t the first one just go automatically to hold? Is it dropping the first call?

Pasting user comments.
"When I'm on the line and other calls are coming in I have to reject them in order to put my current call on hold or transfer it. And then I can't answer that call I rejected I get the next call that comes in after that."

"The same thing happens while I have that call on hold if I'm trying to get back to the customer I have on hold. I have to reject incoming calls."

When I configured multiple calls to ring group, I tested it with 3cx app on laptop and 2 phones, and everything was working just fine. And again, users with T58 didn't report any issue, only 3 users with T54S. My laptop was connected to the PBX-A and 2 phones were connected to the PBX-B, so calls came through the trunk, like in their example.

When you disable the parameter, does it then work correctly?

Everything was working just fine before I enabled that parameter.

Just for the record, that parameter is not supported. It can cause issues so the PBX does not have it enabled by default.

Haha, I'm not happy with that answer, but at least I know there's a problem with that feature.
Thanks for your help!
