Cant restore 3cx pbx

Hi All,

I had a v18-3cx running in google cloud. So far all good. I made backups on external sftp server. Only configs(80mb) and also call recording(20gb)
I have installed through 3cx.com a new install with my license onto a new virtual machine on google cloud. During the install i used the backup of the old server running. During install i used that config files to create the v20-3cx system. Succesfully installed the system could login etc. After that wanted to restore the big backup where it contains all recorded calls etc. I saw it also on the backup tab.

After selecting the backup i pressed restore. 3cx was saying during restoring all services will restarted press ok. Have done that but nothing happened. So i started to wonder maybe its because of the sftp server. So i copied the backup locally into the vm with winscp and tried to restore it again, after changing the backup location into local pad. Still the same.

I am out off options. Does anyone have a solution? or is it someting like a bug?

HI @RakeshD

Depending on the size of the backup and what it contains to make it that size, it can take a lot of time to restore especially if its a relatively low spec machine.
Go into this directory on the server, /var/lib/3cxpbx/Instance1/Data/Logs/ and check if you have a file called RestoreCmd.log
If you do, open it and see if you have any indication on what happened.
