I am getting issues with one of our installed instances. I am warned that the certificate is expired. I have run the command-line:

"C:\Program Files\3CX Phone System\Bin\PbxConfigTool.exe" -renew-certificates

and then stopped and restarted nginx

Nothing appears updated. Have restarted all services and the server, still an issue.

Thanks

3CX hostname/certificate or custom?

What version of 3CX? If not at least 18 update 5 it's probably deactivated.

3CX Hostname / Certificate with Let's Encrypt renewal
18.0 Update 7 (Build 312)

Hi, can you please try to reactivate the system from the management console > Settings > license section by pressing Edit, and ensure all the fields are populated with the correct details, then pressing OK?

Then let us know if you receive any errors at this point

Have performed that, and even repeated the certificate renewal command line, but still the certificate remains unchanged:
Common Name (CN) R3
Organization (O) Let's Encrypt
Organizational Unit (OU) <Not Part Of Certificate>
Issued On Sunday, November 6, 2022 at 1:47:38 AM
Expires On Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 1:47:37 AM

Thanks for the reply.

When do you say you have repeated the certificate renewal vow command line, which steps did you follow?

I entered:
"C:\Program Files\3CX Phone System\Bin\PbxConfigTool.exe" -renew-certificates
net stop nginx
net start nginx
