Quite simple question, but I am not able to to solve it.

My SIP Provider told me, that the format of my SIP call must be sip:[email protected]:5060 but it is sip:[email protected]:5060
I try a lot i.e i set all Outbound parameters to custom value and put there my 0123456 but always the same problem. I also try to put it on "Authentication ID (aka SIP User ID)" but nothing happens. I haveNO idea from where the 10002 cames... can somebody help me? thank you

I also found this https://www.3cx.com/docs/sip-trunk-registration-authentication/ but still same problem

Hi @ucola

Which SIP header should you present like that to your provider? The SIP header you chose will determine what you need to change in your setup.
The 1002 is the virtual extension of your trunk that is assigned when the trunk is created.

Thank you for your fast reply.
Is not the header is the URL they 3CX is calling.

3cx calls sip:[email protected]:5060 and this is wrong, because we need sip:[email protected]:5060

I have attached my configuration. The configuration (numbers) are random number.... so no problem for sharing here.

Error message: Call or Registration to 012345678 has failed. sip:[email protected]:5060 replied: 404 Not Found; from IP:212.25.7.70:5060

My SIP Provider told me, that we need to send sip:012345678@sip.green.ch:5060 and not sip:[email protected]:5060

This does not mean that the PBX is sending the 10002 value. The error is just to show you which trunk failed the call.
Go to Dashboard and then to Activity Log. Click the Settings button and set the logging level to Verbose. Make an outbound call to the provider. Once it fails go back to the Activity Log and filter the logs via the last call.
Fine the Invite message from the PBX to the provider. There will also be an Invite from your extension to the PBX but you can ignore that. Look at the Invite message to the provider and check in the "10002" is included in the Invite.

Alternatively you can use wireshark and capture the call and look at the Invite that way if you more familiar with Wireshark.

From your settings the 10002 should not be sent to the provider. I have also deleted the file you attached as it showed your Auth ID and number.

thank you for your reply!
I will contact my SIP Provider and ask them, how the format must be on request. I checked it right now and is sending the right format and not the 10002! So the error message is a little bit strange, on verbose we see the requests. so you can close this post, thank you for helping!
