Change Extension Number

Is there a way to change the "extension number" after the users have been imported from O365?
Or is there a way to maintain the "extension number" at the user in O365 or Azure before importing?

Question 1 - No, the import will use the next available extension number

thanks for the quick answer.

Then the importer of O365 is unfortunately not usable, if I cannot determine the extension number and I cannot change the number afterwards.
