Change License from "Professional Year" to NFR primary don´t work

When I try to replace the license key I get the following error. NFR keys cannot be specified as New license key. Is there any solution here? The system is self-hosted with a RasperyPi system.

Actualy we are on 3CX version 18.0.237.

you can make a backup without the license data, make a new installation with the NFR license and restore all settings from the backup.

Should I then delete the FQDN from my current license beforehand?

if you want to use the same domain name, then yes, you need to delete it. you can also use a different domain name.

It's as @paurus says, you will have to install using the NFR key from the beginning as you cannot replace another Key with an NFR Key. Do bear in mind that some domains may no longer be available so before releasing the FQDN from the current key please let me know what it is so that I can check(3cx.co.uk, 3cx.com, 3cx.it, etc).

Yes but the acutaly domain has a valid ssl certificate.
Will the version of the Primary NFR be changed to 32 and Enterprise after installation? Because currently the standard version is here and 8 simultaneous calls with version 16 instead of version 18? Do you know anything more about it?

@ChrisC_3CX We have taken our own FQDN subdomain from our company, for example 3cx.mycompany.de. Does that no longer work then?

If you're using your own custom FQDN you can ignore what I said above, you should still be able to use it just fine provided you still have it registered with your domain name provider.


What I mentioned only applies for 3CX FQDNs.

That depends, the NFR level is based on the partnership level, you can take a look at this table here for more info: https://www.3cx.com/partners/channel-partner-program/

If you are an affiliate, you will only have Standard NFR keys. You need to reach the Bronze level to get the full ones.
