Change license key 3cx hosted version

Hello all, we recently started using the 3cx hosted version on 3cx nl
We are now in the process of upgrading to a paid version. We bought the key, but there doesn't seem to be a way to install it.
Can anyone help out?

If you are talking about upgrading your current 3CX system then you can't do it directly from the interface.

You would need to take a backup and reinstall, forgetting licence key and FQDN on backup.

Hey eddv123 thanks. How do I make a backup on the system hosted by 3cx while NOT including licence key and FQDN (What is FQDN)?
And how do I set that back on the system hosted by 3cx?

Hello @HenkKok

For future reference please note that all keys can be upgraded so re-installs can be avoided.Since you already bought a new key you will need to re-install the system.

To do so:

• Perform a Backup of the system without including FQDN and licence key information.
• Un-install the system.
• Release the FQDN from the current key through the customer.3cx.com portal.
• Re-install the system using the backup and the new key.
