The default recorded audio file is with the project file path, can I change the path to a network storeage (NAS) ?

Thanks for any help.

Ricky

Yes, you can use any path there.

I have try included the path in file name like this "C:\IVRS Records\test", but it is not work.

any idea how to do that ?

Thanks

Ricky

The FileName property of the Record component is an expression, so you need to enter it as a Javascript constant string. Back slashes need to be escaped, because are special characters in a javascript string. So you should enter (with the single quotes):
'C:\\IVRS Records\\test'

Give it a try and let me know.

Thanks,

It's work for local Harddisk only, 3CX still can't access NAS, but other program is OK.

Any idea ?

Ricky

Have you tried mapping the NAS to a drive letter? For example, map it to Z: and then try to save it to Z:\...

Not work even map the NAS as local drive, I map the NAS to Z: and config 3cx like this 'Z:\\', I can access the NAS through WINDOWS but 3CX not.

Any idea ?

Ricky

Ricky, this component will let you move a file from the VAD to any location that the app-pool user has access to.

http://www.utahvoipstore.com/products/186-move-or-copy-a-file-to-anywhere-on-the-server-or-network-in-a-3cx-ivr.aspx

It will be free if you use coupon code "bloo"

The problem could be related to permissions. When you go to that folder in Windows, you're running the Windows Explorer with your user. But the VAD application runs under the web server (Abyss or IIS), so the app pool user is the one that needs the permissions.

Try changing the permissions for that user, or allow access to everyone.
