I am fairly new to 3CX so I am not familiar with its routing capabilities yet.

I have multiple DIDs hosted on 1 trunk that needs to be routed to different places. I have found that no matter which number I call that has inbound rules set up, it will always route using the routing rule built into the trunk itself and completely ignore my inbound rules. Is there any way to change this without having to host each number on a separate trunk?

That is what I have set up, I have several DIDs in my trunk and inbound rules for each of them that go to different places but the routing only follows the one that is set in the trunk itself. It's like it is only listening to the trunk call routing and not any of the inbound rules I have set. I recently updated to v18 if that helps.

Who is the carrier? Is it a supported provider?

Was it working before upgrading to v18? May need to run a packet capture to see if the trunk is configured to look at the correct field on the header.

It is a supported carrier per the 3cx documentation. It was working fine prior to the upgrade although I can't say exactly when this problem started, the upgrade may be unrelated. I will run some packet captures and see what I can find out about the call routing.

You can also try putting the system in verbose mode, call one of the DIDs and then check the logs.

After looking through Verbose mode as you suggested, I found that I did not have my DIDs registered in the trunk exactly how it would be formatted from the SIP provider. Essentially, it was receiving calls from the SIP provider, not recognizing them in any of my inbound rules due to incorrect formatting, then defaulting to the routing rule set up in the trunk. All is working as expected. Thanks for the advice.
