I have a customer that had an employee leave. I've reset the credentials for the extension, and renamed the extension to the new person.
I am noticing that the Polycom VVX 410 provisioning is not picking up on this change, and "3CXPhone-directory.xml" still shows the old user's name in it so I am assuming that's where the VVX410's are pulling it from.
I've tested this internally on my instance and the same xml is not updated.
Both systems are updating "phonebook.xml" properly.
I know VVX's are "legacy" devices, but that's what this customer uses and they like them. Any input would be wonderful! Thanks!
Edit: I feel like a moron! My Polycom is coming back to me now, they should be pulling "000000000000-directory.xml" and I checked there, it is updated. What uses the "3CXPhone-directory.xml" then? I'll try a bigger hammer I guess for convincing the Polycoms to update their directory.
