Hi There

I have a very large V15 system on Windows server.
I am moving the server into a DC enviroment and the server internal IP has to change.
Is this possible? and how?

If the IP has changed how will the devices register to this "new" IP assigned to the server?

Regards
Johan

Hello @jofer

The only way to change the local IP address of the PBX is to perform a backup without including licence and FQDN information. Then re-install the system using the backup you created. Make sure you save the backup to a non 3CX location before you un-install the system.
If the phones are registered using the local IP of the PBX you will need to re-provision them. If you have used a local dns with a local FQDN then you need to change your local DNS entry to point to the new IP

Thank you.
