Good day,
I'installed a 3CX that uses Grandstream GXW-4104 FXO as gateway on an analog line connected to a RJ11 analog port of a Satellite Phone terminal (Thuraya).
This terminal performs the call only when at the end of the number there is the #
So... I have to call the number 0044 12345678 I have to dial 0044 12345678 #
To engage the line I have to dial first 82 (that connects to the Grandstream GXW-4104).
Basically If I dial 82 0044 12345678# nothing happen. It seems that the # is not considered.
If I use a normal PSTN Line and I call the same number it works.

Any Idea?

Thank you
M.

Most IP phones consider '#' as a dial now and it's not sent as part of the string. You can access the web interface of the 4104 and have it append a '#' to your dial string. Grandstream support should be able to help you with this. @Frederick Marcoux might be able to help as he uses Grandstream products.

Thank you for your reply. I suspected this.
I checked in the 4104 web interface and I cannot recognize a field to "append" the # to the dial string... but maybe I have to looking for a field with different name...
Waiting a suggestion from Grandstream expert

Thank you

Solved:
just modify the the Dial Plan as follow:
{x+<=#>}

Thank you
