Hi,

I just whent throw the process of creating an account and installing the WordPress plugin. Everything seems to be working except that it seems someone has to be connected in the website backend to see the chat appearing in the frontend. Do we have to configure something to allow customers to open a chat session even if nobody's logged in the WordPress backend ?

Thanks for your answer.

If i understand correctly, the live chat is there in the website but you do not receive in the 3CX Web Client?

Well, the live chat is accessible in the frontend when I'm logged into the backend (see picture 1) but when I logout, it is no more accessible (see picture 2). It should be there, where the "?" is... So a non logged-in customer can not access the chat feature. Is it normal ?

Si I just tried this : when I'm logged-in I see the chat. But in a private navigation the chat is not accessible. So my guess is that a user must have an account and be logged-in to use the chat. But I wish any visitor with no account could ask questions using the chat. And not only logged-in users. Do you see what I mean ?

This shouldn't be the case. Have you checked under Tools<<Settings if the option "Users must be registered and logged in to comment" is enabled?

Hi, sorry for the delay. The problème seems to have disappeared... The chat is now accessible even for logged-out users. I do not know what has changed but problem resolved ! Thanks for your help.

Glad to know this is resolved ;)
