Hi guys,
So I've recently discovered that chat journaling only writes to the CRM when a chat is basically archived and you press "dealt with" to finalize the interaction. Is there a way yet to journal all inbound SMS/chat as activity regardless of whether it's "dealt with" or not? I realize there was some concern about CRM rate limiting, but this is non issue for some and trade off having exact journaling is more beneficial. To illustrate the point, imagine a rep that has a long standing relationship based interaction with a client and doesn't archive/"dealt with" a conversation as it dies down a bit, the CRM would have no record of their interaction at all. In fact, most of the SMS chat convo threads are long standing and rarely archive so the chat log is visible to the rep. Feels like this "dealt with" option is useful for transactional tickets, but not relationship based interactions where the log is needed. Is there any way to please workaround this? Thanks
