Chat option not available in 3cx client

Hi,

I just update 3cx to Version 16, Update 1, Build 16.0.1.273. Chat option is no more available in my 3cx client, web client and on IOS and Android clients as well.

It was not mentioned anywhere in changelog that chat will be revoked from 3cx clients, further 3cx client does not ask for update it was updated straight forwarded.

My working is effected since day start and I am unable to get it back. Urgent support is much appreciated.

Go to your management console under General Settings and make sure CHAT is enabled "Allow Chat".

Thank you ucme4now for your reply.

I do check that on very first hand but that option was enabled. I have rolled back my upgrade from 16.1 to 16 and waiting for a solution to this problem.

Is there any other person who face a similar issue.

I am also having the same issue with Version 16, Update 1, Build 16.0.1.273. The chat icon is missing from 3CX Windows and Android clients and web client. This is a critical issue and I am not sure how to do a roll back.

Problem is resolved. I was having the problem with the dashboard showing 100% CPU, which appeared to be corrected by purging the chat logs. However, on a restart of the 3CX system, the CPU utilization jumped back up and the chat logs appeared to still be intact.

Some poking showed that the dashboard was likely displaying an incorrect utilization - top showed only about 8-10% CPU so I decided to let it run without trying to purge the chat logs. After 20 or 30 minutes, the dashboard CPU utilization dropped to 1-2% at idle and the chat icons reappeared in the clients. My guess is that an update process on the chat logs was preventing the clients from connecting properly for chat and waiting allowed things to clear up.
