Checking Voicemail of another mailbox

Our company has multiple voice mailboxes that one of the assistants must check on a daily basis.

How can she do this from her desk phone.

When she dials 99 from her phone it logs her into her mailbox. In the instructions it states to press # and it will ask you for the mailbox number. However on my system # hangs up the call.

Any thought on this? It's something stupid but after RTFM I can't find what I am looking for.

When you dial the mailbox system access number, and you have PIN security enabled, it should say "Please enter personal identification number, then press pound", If you press # first, it should then ask "Please enter extension number".

Do you have PIN security enabled? If not (for her extension), have you tried this from an extension that does? It may be (for security reasons), that if PIN is not enabled system-wide access to other mailboxes is blocked. I have not tested this myself, but would make sense.
