Hi,

I configured some cisco 504g. They are running the 7.4.7 firmware. At the phone I can see the spanish language installed using provisioning but the phone is still in english.

Is not language pack 7.4.5 compatible with 7.4.7?

Did you follow this guide?

See if there is an updated language pack but I doubt it.
Try and reboot the phone - see whether the language of the lcd changes.
Try and do this manually following the cisco documentation.

If you manage, let us know what your findings are and we will fix. If you still don't manage, contact cisco for advice.

BTW - We have tested with 7.4.6 not 7.4.7. Those language pack files are tested on firmware 7.4.6. let me know on the status of this.

just installed as well 747 adn you just have to go into the phone and set the encodin for the diconary to utf-8 by default it is (new) in iso. then it works direckly

equintana and all other cisco users using these phones - we are soon releasing a new template for cisco phones with support 7.4.7 too.

At the moment language updating works with 7.4.6.

In 7.4.7 they have also added a new feature - cancel by reason. This means that calls answered by another member in queue and ring groups will not show as missed calls on the phone. Way to go Cisco!!!

When will be availabe this new pack? I also one of them... a spa 504g which suddenly show an upgrading task... and freezes.

It has the same config than the others.Extension ID 10.

for all cisco phones you HAVE to feed the phone
1 via Update with the bin files. so if you on 747 the files must be present in the firmware folder and then reperform the update.

2 even when you not change the lang on the phone the lang files HAVE to be present in the update folder.
the phone is looking non stop for both. If one is missing it wil retry in 1440 sconds to refind it (this process is built into the phones) if not it reboots constantly. This is how they work.

Yes sure - go ahead. I tested this yesterday - everything is fine from our end. tested from 501 - 509 + 525 cisco

If there is an epygi isdn device configured 4 pstn from 10000 to 10003. spa 504g 4 lines. At web phone setup, ext 1 to ext 4 must be configured with 10000 to 10003?


I´d like to make phone calls to extensions and also, make external phone calls, but I take the headphone and the ext1 is un use, change automatically and use the next free.

This is not tested. Line monitoring is not available. ISDN will be complex scenario too to monitor because of its nature and capability of handling multiple calls on each isdn port (BRI/PRI - (T1 E1)

but I must configure ext1 to ext 4 with 10000 to 10003 isnt it? and then use 4 bottoms to select the line is this correct?

What are you expecting from experts exchange? Here and 3CX support should be your experts exchange.
We have resellers in Spain - you can contact them if you want. Why don't you try the spanish forum as a starter?

I just told you in the previous post that line monitoring is not available.

If you want to experiment then try and good luck/ Leave buttons 1 and 2 free for the account. Otherwise you will not be able to call or make transfers.

Read the cisco doc and configure in some way button 3 to 10000 and button 4 for 10001 for now. Or start with one line first and see if this works.

Ext2 10 number extension or what? 2 extensions for same phone?
Ext3 10001
Ext4 10002

all of them configured using web page cisco phone. As you told me ext1 and 2 for call and transfers

And what do you expect to achieve from this? If you want to put a pstn line there, there is no point to do this unless you want to monitor whether the line is busy or not.

At the current stage, there is no valid point to put on 3 and 4 the external lines you have.

I´m lost again. I´m looking for a reseller here but impossible. If there are 4 isdn lines and using 504g phones. Which is the better way to config them?

I only found 3 resellers using asterisk/elastix with no experience configuring 3cx. No knowledge in spain with 3cx?

My phones, cisco 504g have 4 lines. I configured ext1 with 3cx parameters. For example, Id 10, Id 11....internal extensions and work fine. Now, my problem is configuring how to manage in and out call from to isdn.
