Cisco 525G2 provisioning does not work

I have 3cx v 12 installed and have couple of newly bought cisco 525g2.
I have enable provisioning in 3cx extension by entering correct MAC and model.

I entered provisioning url- http://192.168.2.13:5000/provisioning/$MA.xmlin in "profile rule" box of cisco 525g2 admin settings.
But some how cisco 525g2 are not able to get the information from 3cx.

What could be wrong in this issue?

i tried to enter http://192.168.2.13:5000/provisioning/$MA.xml url in browser just to see what i get in return. I am not sure if i am right or wrong but following message i do get.
"Server Error in '/' Application.
A potentially dangerous Request.Path value was detected from the client (%)" and there is long error.

pls help me to resolve.

In v12, a random folder was placed after provisioning/ to help with security.

Replace $MA with the MAC address of the handset. The handset expands that $MA variable with its MAC address.
The expected result is an XML file.. the provisioning file for that handset/extension.

At times it is helpful to check what the web server is feeding the phone for provisioning.. when you expect something to work but are getting a different result... aka a "sanity check".

Though I changed the values, the handset at my office pulls http://192.168.1.2:5000/provisioning/qwertyuiop/C47D4F696969.xml

192.168.1.2 is the 3CX host
qwertyuiop was the random folder the system created when we went to v12.
C47D4F696969 is the MAC on my Cisco SPA504G

Similarly, I have DHCP scope option 66 set to http://192.168.1.2:5000/provisioning/qwertyuiop/$MA.xml, and I factory reset my phone to test provisioning after the upgrade to v12.. worked fine.

Look in C:\ProgramData\3CX\Data\Http\Interface\provisioning for your random folder name thereafter.

i was trying to resolve the issue since 3 days.
Finally you resolved it.

have not tried with DHCP scope option 66 but it should work.

3CX V12 features an additional path to its provisioning url –

Example
V11 Path would be http://192.168.1.221:5000/Provisioning/
V12 Path http://192.168.1.221:5000/Provisioning/j7h9ubalp6

In the Cisco Phone templates all the paths as to the Logo, Phone book etc now still point to the old path of V11.

Looking at the below code also confirms this.

Yeah, i found that logo and phonebook were not working on Cisco .
one ques:
do i need to replace %%PROVSUBDIR%% with actual directory name or just copy paste same code what you gave

one thing: we are not able to change the screen saver. i set it to clock but it always shows only 3cx wallpaper.

3CX will by default override any settings you put in the phone manually.

remove the below code from the template apply to the phone and then make your changes.
