hey people

new to all this voip stuff and i'm having a nightmare at the first hurdle. Bought myself some cisco 7940 ip phones i think there on the call manager setting therefore i need to convert them to sip. where do i get the images from as i dont have a cd for them or anything.

thanks

Google tells: "Look here: http://www.mkdw.net/ciscovoip/P0S3-08-2-00/ "
and 3CX adds " http://wiki.3cx.com/Home/faq/convert-cisco" :-)

thanks for that i now have the four files however i need two more which weren't on there

SipDefault.cnf – This file loads the default setting for every phone. Usually this includes where to register the phone.
SIP001A2F336152.cnf – This file has information specific to each phone. The 001A2F336152 (last 12 characters) of the file name is the phones MAC address, so you need to make sure this is correct for every phone you are upgrading.

any ideas?

thanks for your reply!
