Cisco 7940G 8.5.2 & 8.5.4s SIP firmware requested for use with 3cx

Hello There!

I bought 3 cisco 7940g phones from a big refurbisher here in greece. I need the 8.5.2 and 8.5.4 firmware in order to use these phones with 3cx. i can't find them. I even made a post on Cisco Community asking for these files without any luck.

Have you tried following the guide? The download link is there, at least for the 8.5.4s

No idea on the other firmware thought. That's why you don't buy 12 year old EOL phones to use with 3CX. But if you bought them from a big refurbisher, I would imagine they could help you.

SIP(Macaddress).cnf
SIPDefault.cnf
XMLDefault.cnf.xml - can anyone provide me the right content of this file?
CTL(Macaddress).tlv - can anyone provide me the right content of this file?

the issue is the TFTP server is continuously loading the firmware. can anyone provide the right setup for this phone?
i followed the 3cx steps to convert but failed.

why not using actual phones, 3cx supported and set in few minutes instead of having to fight against everything like you are unfortunatelly going

Is your time worth something? Because the price for 3 EOL Cisco phones + your time has to have exceeded the cost for 3CX supported phone at this point.
