Cisco 7970 ip phone conference call

Hi,

I have cisco 7970 ip phones working ok with 3cx. But when i try to complete a conference call i can't merge the 2 calls pressing the conference key. It just come up with error on the phone screen that it could not be completed.


Please advice on this issue.

Cisco 7970 are not supported by 3cx as per list of supported devices on http://www.3cx.com/support
For conferencing functionnality to work correctly you will need to use a supported device with provisioning template.

When will the 7970's, the 7965's and the 7975's be supported? Those are great phones that are more modern than the 7960's.
