Cisco IP Communicator

Does 3CX Support the Cisco IP Communicator, I can only seen Cisco SPA phones in the provision list and a quick google search doesnt reveal anything.

By default the Cisco IP Communicator is set to SCCP but it can be configured to SIP tho I'm not sure how to achieve this with out Cisco CM.

3CX does not support it and have never tested it. You can use the 3CX VOIP phone which has similar functionality.

Hmmm thats a shame,

I did figure out how to put it into SIP mode tho.

msiexec /i CiscoIPCommunicatorSetup.msi /qb SIP=1

Does 3cx Support Generic SIP phones? Possibly so that a generifc cnf file can be created for the Phone?

Hi,

Generic templates are not available as templates are model specific, you could try and set it up manually and see how you go form there. Maybe a Cisco manual configuration guide might help you achieve this.

Again this is not a supported device and i strongly recommend you try the 3CX VOIP phone.
