In the preference menu - what does:Secure Call - yes /no mean ? and what does auto answer page mean? Thanks. New User.

The spa500 series phones support highly secure call encrypted voice communications if you click yes this is enabled.

The phones also support the ability to page to the phone or "intercom" if you have this enable other users will be able to call to the phone and it will auto answer the page out the speaker.

If I click NO/disable for this setting, will I still hear the page through the phone/intercom. I don't want the system to auto answer for me, I would prefer picking up the handset to respond.

Thanks for the information. I didn't want other people signing into their 3cx MyPhone and being able to see who I am on the phone with. Also, with the old phone system, I was able to group a number of extension in one group so that I could send one group voicemail as opposed to leaving a voice mail for 10 individuals. It is alot easier if the 10 people were in one group assigned to an "extension". Is that possible with the Cisco SPA540G telephones?
