Steps I followed to configure:
1- Factory reset
2- Create a extention
3- On cisco web enter the provisioning link in the profile rule box.
4- Phone reboots but nothing changes

You are welcome.

Check the proxy address you have provided and see if there is any typo

It should be "Default gateway":"sip port".
Check to see if the proxy is provided in this manner.

For proxy address did not u say I put 4060. Sorry I have no knowledge of telecom

I recommend you reach out to a capable 3CX reseller in your area to have a look at this for you. Should be pretty easy for them...

Thanks. I will try that but can u please tell me what u mean by the proxy address that i have provided

In the Proxy Field, provide the local IP or FQDN of your 3CX server.

I usually provide the Local IP, if the phone is local and the public IP if the phone is remote.

So the format should be the Local IP:SIP port.

For eg: 192.168.1.100:5060

It looks like the link others have provided was wrong please fully read the documentation but this may help.

Start by resetting the phone to factory default. Then use the provisioning link below to provision the phone.

10.1.1.2 is the ip address of the pbx
10.1.1.5 is the ip address of the phone
Code:
http://10.1.1.5/admin/resync?http://10.1.1.2/provisioning/eokshi6rhmq/$MA.xml

I am doing this:

is that correct? Cause this does not work

just put that string in your URL bar and it will tell the phone to provision like magic. You dont need to configure anything on the phone at all.

That's what I thought. I have done that 500 times but I cannot dial. :-(

try registering the phone manually

When you put the URL in you will see a provisioning web page now wait for the phone to reboot itself. if this does not work you may need to factory reset the phone and try again.
I provisioned a few just the other day without issue in 15.5 sp5.
If none of that works you may need to contact a local 3cx re-seller/support for assistance.

First check which IP is your default gateway.

Go to Settings > Network > Public IP > Select Network Interface card.

Whatever is shown there, is your Local IP. Note it down somewhere.

Once you have got that confirmed,

Factory reset the Phone and do as follows :

On cisco web
Ext 1 > Proxy and Registration >
Proxy : Provide the IP you had noted down before along with the port number, which is 5060, Format will be IP:5060
Register : Yes

Subscriber Information :
Display name :
User ID : (Provide extension number)
Password : (Provide Authentication password)
Use Auth ID : Yes
Auth ID : (Provide Authentication ID, we have kept it as the extension number, you can see it in 3cx management console, extension > general > authentication)
> Submit All Changes

This should get your extension registered.

Once you have got that confirmed,

Factory reset the Phone and do as follows :

This should get your extension registered.
Thanks! I am very grateful for your help. It finally boots and shows this screen. Do u know how I would fix that? Also why did it work manually but not with the link. Thanks again.

You are welcome.

I'm not able to see the screenshot. Can you post it again?

Okay.
Just to confirm, have you run firewall test in 3cx server? Were there any issues?
If you haven't done firewall test, do it now.
it is there in the Dashboard, under PBX Status.

Also, on the phone, does the mute led RED? If so, there is an issue with the network.

Also, double check the Authentication ID and Password provided. Manually enter the password, there is a high chance that this might be the issue.

No mute button is not red and yes firewall pass all test. I typed the fields up:

It looks fine, assuming that 192.168.1.1 is the local IP of your 3CX

In the Phone, Go to Status and see what the error code is.
Settings > Status(11th Option) > Ext 1 >
Check what the error is.

or in the Phone web page, under admin Login
Info > Ex 1 Status > Registration State
Check what the error is.
