Thanks. I will try that but can u please tell me what u mean by the proxy address that i have providedI recommend you reach out to a capable 3CX reseller in your area to have a look at this for you. Should be pretty easy for them...
http://10.1.1.5/admin/resync?http://10.1.1.2/provisioning/eokshi6rhmq/$MA.xml
I am doing this:It looks like the link others have provided was wrong please fully read the documentation but this may help.
Start by resetting the phone to factory default. Then use the provisioning link below to provision the phone.
10.1.1.2 is the ip address of the pbx
10.1.1.5 is the ip address of the phone
Code:http://10.1.1.5/admin/resync?http://10.1.1.2/provisioning/eokshi6rhmq/$MA.xml
That's what I thought. I have done that 500 times but I cannot dial. :-(just put that string in your URL bar and it will tell the phone to provision like magic. You dont need to configure anything on the phone at all.
Thanks! I am very grateful for your help. It finally boots and shows this screen. Do u know how I would fix that? Also why did it work manually but not with the link. Thanks again.Once you have got that confirmed,
Factory reset the Phone and do as follows :
On cisco web
Ext 1 > Proxy and Registration >
Proxy : Provide the IP you had noted down before along with the port number, which is 5060, Format will be IP:5060
Register : Yes
Subscriber Information :
Display name :
User ID : (Provide extension number)
Password : (Provide Authentication password)
Use Auth ID : Yes
Auth ID : (Provide Authentication ID, we have kept it as the extension number, you can see it in 3cx management console, extension > general > authentication)
> Submit All Changes
This should get your extension registered.
You are welcome.
I'm not able to see the screenshot. Can you post it again?
No mute button is not red and yes firewall pass all test. I typed the fields up:Okay.
Just to confirm, have you run firewall test in 3cx server? Were there any issues?
If you haven't done firewall test, do it now.
it is there in the Dashboard, under PBX Status.
Also, on the phone, does the mute led RED? If so, there is an issue with the network.
Also, double check the Authentication ID and Password provided. Manually enter the password, there is a high chance that this might be the issue.
It looks fine, assuming that 192.168.1.1 is the local IP of your 3CX
