Just wondering if anyone is using the Cisco SPA525G2 phone at all with 3CX ?.

This model, note the '2' at the end, appears to be fairly new and has built in 802.11b/g Wi-Fi ! (the plain Cisco SPA525G is now end of life). I'm itching to get some remote extensions setup and I'd rather have a fully fledged desk phone like this than the WIP310.

Thanks :)

Talking about 'end of life' all the Linksys models are now as well...

I have 4 of them.

Seem to work just fine.

Are any of them setup as remote extensions, for example at a users home, running over their WiFi network ? (so that NAT and STUN are being brought into the mix).

Setup should be relatively straight forward. I'm sure, that for the VoIP settings, you can use the SPA525g settings. The only difference is that WiFi has been added to the mix. Get that to work first, then work on the VoIP settings. As a "remote" extension, you will need to enable STUN, and be sure, if you are using more than one set at the same location, that each has a unique port number.
