I am after assistance with configuring a 3CX (which is great by the way - thanks!) and a Vegastream 400 gateway. My problem is with CLI.

Config in brief:
ISDN30 --- Vegastream 400 --- LAN IF -> 3cx
(nothing complicated about that)
Dial plans all work - I can make and receive calls both internally and externally.

I am using Polycom 330 phones and the latest version of 3CX.

When I monitor the Vega, I can see the CLI tag coming through from the ISDN.

-- What do I need in my dial plans to pass the CLI through to 3CX?
-- What do I need to do in my 3CX system to see the CLI on the Call Assistant and/or the phones?
-- Do I need to give any further details for any one to help?

Any assistance is greatly appreciated! TIA.

Try this, on the gateway configuration, go to Other Options, select "Use Ip in Contacts" and below input the Ip address of your gateway. See if that works...

Cheers

Please provide the 3CX console log and that device debug log. We will investigate your issue. We must know what's caller id at the SIP call from that device to 3CX box.

Problem solved

I realised on closer inspection that the CLI was coming through from the vegastream - 3cx caller id field is the "contact" field in our case.

Thanks for the offers of assistance nonetheless!

:D

Good to hear your problem had been solved.
