Hi,

BRAVE:
I just realized that when I click on a phone number (still is highlighted), I get this error message in the inspector:
Failed to launch 'tel:530XXXXXXX' because the scheme does not have a registered handler.

It does the same for any site.

CHROME:
Anytime I click a phone number on a page I get this popup from Chrome:

Untitled.png

I have 3CX extension on both browsers, my desktop is running as well.
I have disabled my Ad Blockers too.

Any ideas on how to fix this please?

I have the same issue on Google chrome Version 99.0.4844.82. Not working.

We haven't tested Brave, so I can't really say much about that.

In regards to the dialog appearing in Chrome though, check this here:
https://www.3cx.com/blog/releases/1-click-dial/

If the "3CX Desktop App" option does not appear, check your Windows Settings and change the Default App for the "TEL: protocol to be the "3CX Desktop App":

If you are using the WebClient, uninstall the Chrome Extension and re-install it:
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/3cx-click2call/baipgmmeifmofkcilhccccoipmjccehn

Then make sure you configure it with what you want to launch the numbers:

Thank you so much!
By downloading the reg file at:
https://www.3cx.com/blog/releases/1-click-dial/

fixed everything!

Prior to that, I had installed the v16 dekstop for windows, and installed v18 desktop, and it worked when they were both installed.
After uninstalling v16, Chrome and Brave would not launch 3CX desktop even though it is set as the default program.

But now with the reg file downloaded and installed, fixed the problem altogether :)

Very happy to hear everything is up and running again!

I'll mark this thread as 'Solved'.
