client moving offices- steps to take for SBC?

Hi there, i have a client who's moving to a new larger office. they will be getting a new IP from their ISP, and i wanted to know if there are any steps to take regarding their SBC. will the SBC have to be reinstalled on the new network? or can it be plugged in and configure itself for its new environment?

its a Raspberry Pi 4 with the IP set to static, so I'm assuming not? this is kinda what i was wondering myself, i had a hard time finding this out online.

You might have a static ip on the Raspberry but on the new office, will the be using the same local subnet?

i'm not sure if they will be. if they use the same local subnet, will the SBC function without having to be altered?

The SBC will contact the PBX using the FQDN. This means that even if the public ip is changed the DNS will resolve the new and reconnect without issue.
Now if the local subnet is different then you need to re-install. The reason is that in the configuration of the ip phones, the devices will try to contact the SBC with the local ip but if this is changed you need to reinstall the SBC and factory reset/provision the ip phones.
