Dear all,
I would like to ask you if something changed from v12 to v14, because, on v14, when I try to add a new ISDN Gateway (I have a Patton SN4638) 3CX only creates one port (90001), even if in the creation wizard I tell it that I have 4.

On v12 it created 4 ports (90001, 90002, 90003 and 90004) when I told it that I had 4. And I prefer that way because on the Patton I have 4 different phone number with different purpose.

But I can't find anything specific in the docs/FAQs, on the Internet, etc.

Thanks for your time,

Re: Number of ports in Patton ISDN gateway

After a big digging,
I've found, on the third slide from the "Configuring Inbound Routing" presentation of the academy
http://www.3cx.com/3cxacademy/videos/ba ... d-routing/
that for the Patton now we have one virtual port per device.

Thanks all,

Found in the manual v12.5
Choose the provider/gateway port. This is used to identify over which line the call will be
coming in from. A VoIP Provider will only have one available port. A VoIP (PSTN)
Gateway, will have one port for each physical line, depending on the make and model.
Patton gateways for example will have one port for each line. Beronet gateways will only
have one port per gateway.

Found in the manual v14
Some devices build a hunt group for all available ports and present them as on single virtual extension inside 3CX Phone
System (Beronet & Patton devices) and others represent each port individually (Welltech).

So, as you can see, it changed from v12.5 to v14.

Thanks again,
