company phonebook access

Hello,
Does someone know how do 3cx store contacts? is it XML or database?
Is there a way to access the company phonebook from a third party application?

The contact data is stored in an internal 3CX database that should not be accessed directly. There is an API for obtaining a list of contacts (3CX Call Control API) but this API is undocumented and unsupported.

My brain is a little slow this morning. Is it possible to use the server-side CRM integration to push contact information to an external source? I assume so.

We offer a VoIPTools REST API which includes the ability to get access to the 3CX contacts.
