conference bridge and call issues

Hi there!

We're trying to accomplish the following and having difficulty getting there.

1. We need static PINs for conference bridges. We want our agents to have the same bridges as well as certain rooms for various different functions have their own PINs. Can not see how to do this. It seems every time a conference is created a new pin is generated. This would require the 3cx clients to be able to specify a PIN and/or jave a local configuration for it
2. If I create a bridge with the default info (1 hour) what happens if the conference runs over? We can't have the bridge shutdown in the middle.
3. one of our people is overseas and was trying to talk to the bridge and it was connected for over two hours yet at his client it wasn't connected. (Mac client) We also had a 3cx windows client on a queue call keep ringing after it was picked up. The overseas call (see screenshot) cost us to be charged from our gateway for a two hour call. We can not have that happen.

5. on the 3cx windows client when a call is ended the display returns here, I don't think that is correct?

7. It seems only one manager can listen to any given call at one time?

1. This is designed with email invites going out in mind (which will include the unique PIN each time) so this is not possible
2. The conference bridge does not shut down until all the participants leave or if nobody joins by the allotted timeout.
3. That would require you to do troubleshooting and checking your logs for the root cause

Conferences stay active until the last person hangs up. Does not matter how long you talk. It does not cut off.

We had the same issue where things like Board of Directors meetings and regularly scheduled meetings needed static pins so meeting info didn't need to be continuously updated.

What I did is set up a series of conferences for 1 Jan 2075. You can join a conference early so this conference is always live. The code will not expire until that date, so it's always accessible.

TIP: I gave each department two static PIN conferences each so if they have a meeting scheduled from 1-2 PM they use conf A and they use conf B from 2-3 PM so no one from conf A will be interrupted by conf B if conf B attendees are early. If another meeting from 3-4 PM, they would use conf A again.

Thanks @JohnS_3CX - not what I was looking for.

1. no way to create specfic pins?
2. I'm ASSUMING if you want multiple conferences running at once You need to create 7001 7002 etrc
3. All we found was that extension connected fo two hours and also the trunk from vitelity had charges for the entire time.

1. No.. Pins are auto-generated when you create the new conference
2. Yes you can
3. Looks like a stuck call for some reason.. If it its reproducible then Verbose logs will show you more detail as to what happened but for that one case in the past it may not be possible if logging was low
