Hi,

When I schedule a video conference through the webclient, if I select "3CX direct eMail" to send my invitations the recipients get the meeting instructions by email clearly with the correct text formatting as defined in the email templates.

But if I select "Office365", it opens my Outlook calendar on the web, but in the meeting description all the instructions and conference notes are jam-packed in the same paragraph without line breaks or formatting. Is there a way to keep a clean formatting for the conference notes and instructions when scheduling through Office 365?

Thanks!

JF

Hi JF,

We identified an issue with this, it used to work correctly but something possibly changed on the way Microsoft handles the info so we will have to address it in a later version.

You can try to use iCal, and load it into your Outlook which should make it appear correctly.

Wasn't that just fixed in U5? The dates and such that were not passed through.

Hi John,

Ok thanks for the follow-up, we will wait for the update.

@Frederick Marcoux : we currently have the issue with 3CX Version 16 Update 5 Hotfix - 16.0.5.619. We are scheduled to update our system to Hotfix 2 next week but I doubt it will fix this particular issue, from the release notes the Hotfix 2 is only to maintain compatiblity with Chrome and Edge v85+.

Once you reach update 6 you should find it fixed
