Hello everyone, I'm new on the forum.
I have the latest version of 3cx and try to connect the SBC with two network cards. One for Wan and one for Lan. and then connect remote softphones. Is there a manual on how to do it? what there is does not solve this architecture.
I also don't see how to configure the rules in the sbc.
thank you

You can't do that I think. The SBC runs behind the firewall, not exposed to the WAN.

as above

The SBC machine should be delicated to SBC and nothing else

The 3CX is not a traditional SBC so it doesn't sit on the edge. It basically proxies the local traffic to 3CX.

Thanks for your replies.
The SBC server is separate.
Interpret 3cxSBC to be a full SBC just like FreeSBC or Avaya SBC

Is there any SBC solution that 3CX recommends?

Thank you so much

Hi @pmserra

The softphones will need to connect to the PBX directly via internet

PBX -> Firewall -> ISP CPE -> WAN/Internet -> Remote sofclient

The firewall needs to have the HTTPS and Tunnel ports (usually 5001 and 5090) open and forwarded to the PBX. Then, the 3CX soft client will establish a secure encrypted connection to the PBX and make voice calls. https://www.3cx.com/docs/ports/

The SBC is not necessary or compatible in this use-case.
