Hello,community,

I have a gateway of 4 channels I wanted to configure it to my 3cx. Im not sure about the following:
Note: The sim cards I want to use in the gateway were being used on a mobile phone and I just want them to be in one box and transfer all the incoming calls to different extensions.
1. Is it possible to route all the incoming calls from the pstn lines to different extensions such that each line is assigned to on extension that will be receiving all the incoming calls.
2. How do I configure that.
3. Which number do I use as the main trunk since all the simcards are from different service providers

4. Which number do i use as Registrar/Server/Gateway Hostname or IP

5. What do i add to authenticate

6. There is no option of choosing the main trunk, how will this affect incoming calls from the other lines.

It is all going to depend on what settings your gateway allows. I assume you plan on using more than one SIM in the gateway.

So, there are two possibilities....
The gateway is setup as four separate trunk groups, 3CX has four trunk groups as well. Each trunk is set to route (incoming)to a particular extension. In many cases, each trunk will be accessed (registered) using a different port on the gateway but a common IP.

If the gateway only allows one trunk group, then each line (SIM) may be chosen using a prefix (this would have to be an option on the gateway). If a DID number can be set, in the gateway, against each line, then you could use DID rules to route incoming calls.

Again, what you are going to be able to do is going to be determined by the gateway. If you provide the make/model, perhaps someone else is familiar with it.
