confused with licence

Hello, i recently got an email from 3cx that i need to renew my subscription which cost 475 US, however when i first installed my 3cx instance it was the free one for ever, (self hosted, on premise), so whats gonna happen with my sytem, will downgrade to the free one on its going to be interrupted. ?

You likely got a 1 year free upgrade to higher number of simultaneous calls 8 or 16 depending on the promotion at that time. Partner could also upgrade your license to free trial of pro or enterprise licenses again with slightly different limits depending on the timing as the offers change from time to time. Some older free editions are grandfathered into different call limits depending on the exact offers available at the time so not everyone gets the exact same thing.

Once that free trial ends if you do not renew it would revert to the free tier and I suspect the email did explain that but you did not post any details so I'm speculating. So if that is all you want, you do not have to do anything. If you got a free trial of Pro or Enterprise features then I assume you have a partner you worked with who would be able to help you.

I have replied to the email that you sent to [email protected]

I can see that your license key used to be 16SC, which was the free option previously. At the moment our free edition is 4SC meaning that 16SC has to be renewed for a fee if you wish to keep it at this particular size.

If you would like to remain on a free version, you do not need to manually renew anything, and the license key will auto-downgrade to the free edition when it's time for it to be renewed.

Please keep in mind that currently, you can have up to 16SC at any given time, when and if it gets downgraded to a free edition you will be limited to 4SC only.
