Hi,

i want to test 3CX in regard using it as a call center, thus i have installed it on one VB instance and configured it, now i want to receive calls from Mobile Operator using the USB SIM card Module then build the IVR, then terminate the call on the desired extension.

so how can i configure the connection between the USB SIM module and the 3CX knowing the following information:

  • 3CX used is linux based
  • USB module is D-Link Model: DWM-157, Hardware version: D1, Firmware version: 3.0.2.MES

i'll be thankful for your support, i'm new in 3XC but with moderate experience in VOIP in general.

Almost all USB SIM adapters that I have come across are used for a data connection (for one computer) only, not for voice. If the SIM is for a voice connection, then you would need the appropriate (to your SIM provider) gateway. Not all are supported by 3CX, although they may work.
