Connecting IP Phones YeaLink T21P Via VPN

Hi guys i have a vpn setup between 2 sites. Site 1 has 3Cx Server and site 2 has 5 IP Phones. Ports are forwarded and can see the phones ip addresses on site 2 from site 1 but they do not register. Anyone experience a similar issue where you cant get the phone to see the 3CX server and register over the vpn?

If you have a vpn, you do not have to setup port forwarding - you just need to allow all ports down the vpn tunnel.



You may need to setup dhcp option 66 on the remote site -

What I would do,

1. Factory default the phone
2. Manually add the phone to the extension using the mac address and provisioning as local lan
3. If you are unable to use DHCP, manually enter the provisioning url into the phone.

Also check that your IP's have not been blacklisted.

You can also check your VPN firewall rules to ensure that all traffic is being allowed both ways over the site to site VPN Tunnel.
