Hello,

since a recent update, the connection to my SIP Trunk provider fails with the error message:
Registration at Easybell has failed. Destination (sip:***@sip.easybell.de:5060) is not reachable, DNS error resolving FQDN, or service is not available.

What ever is causing this error - it's temporary, and happens only every few days, so it is not a big issue.

The real problem is: The 3CX system does not try to reconnect afterwards, so the phone system essentially stops working. Disabling/enabling the trunk manually does not help. I need to restart the SIP Server service manually, then the registration immediately works again.

Any ideas how to fix this?

Best Regards!

the message it self is very generic. Most commonly in the past we have seen that your network provides basic information about IPV6 but cannot route it. Give this a shot and let us know:

Settings --> Network --> Disable IPv6 support

There are some IPv6 related messages around, so this could be the reason. We are hosted on Google Cloud.

However, I have no "Network" under Settings. Where would I find this? Also, the console no longer works.

Thanks!

I assume you run on the free hosting trial - which has this option disabled.
However, I cannot find a deployment with has the same email address as the forum user...

I have this problem in an instance under this email.
