Console Restrictions for WebClient "Admins"

We've been using the new admin permissions in /webclient for a while now. I totally forgot about checking until today.. The Console Restrictions that protects the Management console from unauthorized logins by whitelist has no effect on the /webclient. This is a huge security risk where there wasn't one before.. Am I missing something or was that just not enabled yet? We'd either need native MFA support or a whitelist for the /webclient, at least for /webclient users who have admin privileges. Is anyone else concerned with this?
