Contact URL Popping up in Edge and not Chrome

Hi,

We have integrated 3cx with our CRM. The template seems to be working correctly when tested. However, it seems that the contact URL is not properly working. Please see below.

• In windows, we installed 3cx extension but when receiving a call, the contact url opens in Edge and not Chrome.
• When calling the trunk line, the contact url pops up but when called again with a different number, popup no longer appears. It seems inconsistent.

We are checking the logs as of this writing but sharing this here and hoping to get insights.

Just to let you know update 5/6 will have a new way of doing easy contact pop up based on caller ID. Possibly this might be easier to configure, more info to come in the coming weeks.

Thank you so much for the info. At the moment, would someone be able to guide us on how to configure 3cx to have the contact popup work properly specifically for this point

Or is there a current issue on this feature? We are using 3cx V18.0.3.461. We see there is an available version update to V18.0.4.965 but wee have not updated yet.
