Convent Cisco 7940 SEP to SIP - Problem

Hi All,

Can anyone tell me how to convent the Cisco 7940 SEP to SIP. I have been trying for months but i can't convent to SIP. The TFTP server keep looking for SEP<< mac Address>> file. I try to put SIP and keep erro.

Pls Advise.

Have you got the SIP firmware on your TFTP server and executed a complete factory reset ? If you have it should work, I have all Cisco hardware (gateway & phones) on my 3CX system and have had no problems.

Have you searched these forums as well?

there are plenty of posts that provide a detailed run-through of how to do this - just remember, it's all in the timing of when you place the .bin files into the TFTP Server root directory...

I have seen and try alot of time but the phone doesnt received the file for bin??? can anyone advise... thks for your help....
