Wrong. You can chain multiple scenarios and skip some if desired. That's how the Template Wizard does it by default.Call Journaling
3CX Phone System supports reporting external calls to CRM. To support call journaling, you just need to create a scenario with the reserved name “ReportCall”. This scenario doesn’t return any data, so you should not provide <Rules/>, <Variables/> and <Outputs/> nodes. Only a <Request>, <Query> or <Command> element is required, according to the type of scenario.
Check the CRM templates provided by 3CX to see Call Journaling examples.
The names you use for "report calls scenarios" are wrong. The one and only allowed name is "ReportCall". Others will be interpreted as LookUp scenarios. See https://www.3cx.com/docs/crm-template-xml-description/
Wrong. Even if the contact is not matched the call can be logged. No contact matched so no call logged. This is expected behavior.
You can check in the logs you provided, there's the "Reporting call ... ContactName = ..., ContactRawData = (null). This should actually be more like "3456778|Contacts".
Yes, this is up to the template. The CRM engine will not discard that in advance, but usually the integrations will skip it. All the standard 3CX integrations do this, and that's also what generates the CRM tool by default, however you can change it and still log the call.Even if the contact is not matched the call can be logged.
This shouldn't be the case. No 3CX service needs reloading for the CRM XML to work.Reboot of the service is required when installing XML - and I assume with any tweaks. That was my issue. Step missing in: https://www.3cx.com/docs/crm-integration

It's random. Sometimes the template is cached in memory and some stuff don't work until a service restart.Maybe under Windows it does? but I saw it mentioned here, https://www.3cx.com/community/threa...ed-when-making-changes-to-xml-template.79072/, so I decided to try it, and it started to work.
Founded in 2005, when VoIP was an emerging technology, 3CX has gone on to establish itself as a global leader in business communications.
