CSTA interface ?

Hi,

Does the 3CX have a CSTA output available?

We have a potential client who wants to do some integration with a 3rd party app, basically, they want an output stream from the 3CX where they get the inbound callers number presented to them as the call rings so they can call some actions in the background based on that number.

Do you want this to happen at the client side, or the server side? On the client side, you can have 3CX Phone for Windows or the Web client call an external program and pass in the caller's number as a parameter. The "program" can then do whatever you need. On the server side, you can call a REST API using the 3CX integration, or we can provide a service that can do just about anything you need.

Hi, on server side - we effectively want a live "event log" output from the 3CX - handset has made a call, call is ringing in with this number to this extension etc - I'm not sure if this is available from 3cx as a native output or if a middleware is required ?

Unfortunately there is no public API to do this.
