Hi all,

I am making a new installation with a custom FQDN with SSL and CSR key. However, it is failing. I have updated the DNS with Go Daddy with the IP Address of the Google Cloud external IP address, the IP is resolving but it will not connect due to this error message: ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT.

I cannot even access the PBX using the external IP address and 5001 port number. I followed this guide - https://www.3cx.com/docs/

I am using Google Cloud for the installation.

Please can someone assist?

Hi,

Have you checked the nginx log as per the above link? (final step)

Hi,

It seems to be working now! I just had to wait 72 hours. However, sometimes 3CX Management Console crashes I believe and once I restart the Google Cloud VM all is working again.... odd.

do you have enough hardware ressources? your VM isn't too small ?

Weirdly enough, since the latest restart it has not crashed since. Fingers crossed.

Yes, its the medium sized Cloud VM according to 3CX spec.
