Custom IP Phone Templates

[MH-Nottingham]

Running Pro version 16.0.900 with Grandstream GXP2170 running firmware version 1.0.9.132. Site is live

How do I adjust the default template to show / update;

time - is out by 1 hour
phone location - shows weather for another city
add login button (all phones are hot desk phones - program button for 77 when the phone is first provisioned / user logged out)

I have checked inside settings>Templates>Grandstream.ph.xml - no idea what or what to adjust.

Help is appreciated.

Update your V16 PBX to latest 16.0.2.910 , Hotdesking is not working with custom templates, or said other way , you can't have customised templates available for hotdesked phones.

had in the past a similar problem with the time zone and city that did not match between 3cx and the phone interface either. But don't remember what was the fix.

For date and time try to tweak with this on phone GUI


My actual settings on phone , they are not good City is not mine but is surely coming from ISP router, english should be French, Time zone should be GMT+1, but with above settings on phone date and time are the good one.
