Custom lost call queue notify

Hello.

i'd like to have custome notify on lost call queue.
What i mean is to send an sms and a telegram message (both are done through an http request) on lost call.

I try 2 way, but none of them works fine:
- first try --> create a CFD that made http request. on the queue setting under Destination if no answer i select the CFD.
_in this case all works, exept the no answer events not include the case that the calleer abadond the queue_
- second try --> allow the Notify Queue Manager when a Queue call is lost, under queue settings.
_i have no chance to pass with the e-mail the mobile number of the extension that had to get the sms_

anyone has a smart idea to reach my goal?

It could be a solution even if i can change the queue name from a CFD app.
For my need, from CFD i can put each time the mobile number in the queue name, and then the queue name could be included in the "Notify Queue Manager when a Queue call is lost" mail template, and from there parsed externally.

A CFD app will not cover the case of abandoned calls. It will only cover the case in which the queue timeout is exceeded.

The only way to do this at the moment would be creating a program that checks the CDRs, and when it detects a missed queue call, it sends the notification.

3CX can be configured to generate a CDR (Call Data Record) when a call ends:

These CDRs are stored in a text file in the 3CX Server. You could create a program to check this file, and when you detect a missed call to a queue, you trigger a notification.

I've check on CFD Docs. In an example in a c# component some methods from Phonesystem.root are used


So, i've check for PhoneSystem object (i've found 3CXCallControlAPI_v16.zip but i can't retrice the 3cx link download now).

I try the following code inside a c# component in CFD
Queue q= (Queue)PhoneSystem.root.GetDNByNumber(queueExt);
q.name="new name";
q.Save();
and i can manage to cange the queue name. In this way, i can write the data that i'd like to send out (ex: a ext mobile number) with the lost queue mail template.

I know that it's quiter dirty to change the queue name every time with a data taht is not the queue name; but could be fine for me.

What i'm warried about is the properties and method could be used? even in further release?

You can do that, but you will need to test you app with every version of 3CX before you upgrade your production systems, because there is no warranty that this API will remain unchanged. In most of the cases you will not have problems, but as this is an API designed to be used internally by 3CX, we will not announce any breaking change.
