LOL. You've been around long enough to know better than to ask that question :). Strech is supported till 6/2022 so there's no huge rush, but I'm sure if is a trivial change they will incorporate it sooner rather than later simply because of the Raspberry Pi issue. The earliest you would see it would be ~6 weeks or so (whenever SP3 beta comes out) or maybe up to 6 months or so whenever v17 comes out. Nothing worth holding your breath over or waiting for that's for sure.

I looked on Amazon (US) the other day for the Raspberry Pi 4 and it doesn't even come up. I suspect it will take a while to make it's way into use depending on where it has been released. If you want to be the first one using it, then you'll have to wait for the application to catch up.

Thank you for your answer, but the question was more directed at 3CX itself
and I'm not talking about a Pi 4.
@cobaltit
Why are you laughing? Is my question so silly? Or do you answer because you have to give an answer?

Thank you.

Is there an advantage (does it buy you anything) to using Buster over the current OS, in the existing (older) Raspberry Pi's? I was getting the impression that Buster was to take advantage of the increased speed/features of the new model 4.

I was laughing because you've been on these forums for a while, and surely you've realized that 3CX doesn't give out time frames or road maps. Asking for when they will support something the day it comes out is silly. As every software company will tell you, it's ready when it's ready. There's no compelling reason for them to support Buster outside of the issue with the Pi, and the page has already been revised to point to the latest Stretch image.

Did you actually have a need for Buster support for something?
