Hi guys.
I've followed the guide for installing the Debian version 15 on OVH.
All good, phones register, firewall test OK. But...
I cannot get the Trunk to register, tried different trunks, also from the templates. I have tested the trunk and it's working directly from a Yealink T48G and even from another 3CX install I have locally.
Error message is:
SIP Server/Call Manager ID: 12293
Registration at XXXX has failed. Destination (sip:XXXX@XXXX:5060) is not reachable, DNS error resolving FQDN, or service is not available.
Anyone having experienced the same issue on OVH?
All is basic setup as per the guidelines/manuals from 3CX.

Dear jonas,

Can you try to do an ssh connection in the pbx and do a nslookup and ping in order to see if you can reach and resolve your provider ?

Also, please disable the linux build in firewall (iptables).

Proceed with the above procedure and come back with feedback.

nslookup returns the correct IP-address of the trunk.
Ping is responding also.
I disabled the build in firewall (iptables)
Afterwards I restarted 3CX services.
I have tried to change the trunk hostname to the ip-adress, but no luck.
Same error still.

shall we do a remote session together on your vps in OVH?

Thank you Stefan. That is awfully nice of you.
It appears that the problem is with the provider though, I'm figuring it out with them as we speak.
OVH install (both Debian and 3CX) was flawless, the error-message regarding the trunk was a bit misleading though as the provider can actually see requests from the server, but they are not responding.

you will get a PM in a short moment... be ready ;-)

Just to update the thread for anyone interested the provider has blacklisted the PBX's IP.
