Department Permission Roles

Hello guys,

I have trouble setting up the proper permissions for users and departments, in the previous versions v18 each user could had a separate role per department, but in the newer version I can not find that option.
The issue I have is, I have setup few departments where each department has a supervisor which will have access to the recordings of the department members, and I have created a def team department where all users are there so they all can see the extensions but the issue is the users which are setup as supervisor to the other departments, they are supervisors in this default one and they have access to recordings of system owner.

Please advise, is this a 3cx bug or I have misconfigured something.

As @Alphabetic mentioned, roles are assigned per user, not per department as in v18.

As a result, if a user is assigned a Supervisor role, that permission applies across all departments the user is part of, including your 'Default' department.

At this time, there is no way to assign different roles per department in v20.

I tried that as well, but once I select any of the options options it automatically share the recordings from the system admin to the supervisor

I am not 100% sure it does what you need, but in stead of using the DEF department so everybody sees all other, set

in all departments.

Thank you Ronaldvdv, this helped.

I still think there is a bug with the view permissions, because I just tested with adding permissions to the groups for Barge-in, Listen & Whisper for the system owner, even its not directly added to the departments, the department supervisor can view his recordings.
